Bar u Gargamela

A very atmospheric place. The food was very tasty, everything was made fresh. The surrounding area is beautiful, an ideal place for long bicycle or hiking trips. It is possible to stay overnight after agreeing with the owner.A place with huge potential to create a camping site.

Great place! Nice service from Mr. Gargamel and his son ;) Delicious Italian ice cream!!! Delicious casserole, tasty fries, and great cold Zwierzynieckie beer. The place is also fantastic, one of my favorites in the country, the beauty and music of nature. My wife and I went down all the possible trails around, the best green one for walking and the blue one from the side of the reserve. The return in yellow is also charming. Greetings to the lady serving the meals with a strange accent on the last syllable ;) I highly recommend it!!!Update 2022 - nothing has changed :D

Great place with a very nice and helpful owner. Thanks to his kindness, I could spend the night in a tent overlooking the Tanew cascades. Plus delicious sausages and great beer, what more do you need? :)

A very good place to start and end charming walks along the tourist trails of the Central Roztocze in the RPN (Roztocze National Park), located closest to the so-called Szumów nad Tanwia (water cascades on the Tanwia River, creating a characteristic sound of water, which has a relaxing effect on tourists tired of the hustle and bustle of the city; at least that's how they work on me). The bar serves delicious casseroles, grilled sausages with fries, burgers, chicken nuggets - I do not recommend these because they are coated in thick, very crispy, even hard breading; only fries with garlic sauce and ketchup, sweet cheese dumplings, as well as delicious Italian ice cream and various types of drinks. The bar has its own unpaved parking lot for a small fee of PLN 5/day and the only toilet in the area (for PLN 2) - data as of July 20, 2023. Closes during the tourist season at 7:00 p.m. through a large sliding gate and you must leave by car by then. This is the best place for comfortable walks around the Central Roztocze RPN. It can be reached conveniently, via good roads, e.g. from 0.5 hour away. Lubaczów, Oleszyce, Cieszanów, Dachnów, Narol, Zwierzyniec, Józefów or other nearby cities, towns and other nearby towns.

Small bar in the middle of nowhere. Low prices and nice staff. Definitely recommend after some longer hike. The menu is not very complicated but you find something for you even if you’re vegetarian.

A great place next to the reserve, you can eat and drink, buy souvenirs, the owner is a helpful soul, parking PLN 5, unfortunately I didn't taste the food because I didn't have time to get back from the trail until 5 p.m. It closes together with the parking lot at that time, I recommend visiting

A place with a very atmospheric location, right next to "Shumy nad Tanwia". They are accessed by solid, new stairs. In the "gargamel" area there are lots of people, bustle, laughter, music and tasty food. The owner is rather friendly to motorcyclists, he did not charge us for parking, which normally has a symbolic fee. I ate fries which were ok. I saw sausages roasting on the fire and a lot of aoetic food that people were walking around with. There are plenty of tables where you can sit and drink regional beers. You can also buy souvenirs and souvenirs. For me it's a revelation. I RECOMMEND!!!
